The National Association of Energy Service Companies renewed and approved accreditation for ESCOs and energy efficiency firms that exemplify the organization’s high standard for project success and professional ethics.
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 5, 2023– The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), the leading advocacy and accreditation association representing companies modernizing our nation’s building infrastructure through energy efficiency projects, announced the kickoff of the 2023 spring application process and the most recent energy service companies (ESCOs) to receive the group’s industry-leading accreditation status.
Six companies became the latest ESCOs and energy service providers to receive or renew NAESCO accreditation. The rigorous process, run by an independent committee of industry experts, includes reviewing core competencies and business practices alongside project documentation and customer references. The renewed and newly accredited ESCOs and energy service providers include:
- Trane Technologies
- Energy Solutions Professionals
- Georgia Power
- The Efficiency Network (TEN)
- Willdan Energy Solutions
- Path Company
“As energy efficiency becomes an ever-greater part of building design, renovation and development, choosing an accredited company to perform this kind of work makes perfect sense,” said NAESCO Executive Director Dr. Timothy Unruh. “ESCO customers deserve a standard indication of a company’s work quality, contract performance, and project success— and accredited companies deserve recognition of their efforts to meet the high professional, technical, and ethical standards.”
Applications for the spring 2023 accreditation process open in January to ESCOs, energy service providers, and energy efficiency contractors seeking to distinguish their performance contracting and efficiency offerings.
