National Association of Energy Service Companies Re-Elects Board Chair Wes Walker and Officers

Washington, DC,. November 14, 2024 – The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), the leading advocacy and accreditation association representing companies modernizing our nation’s building infrastructure, has re-elected Wes Walker, CEO of Veregy, as Chair of the Board of Directors for a second two-year term. The announcement was made at NAESCO’s annual meeting, R3 Conference and Innovation Expo, in Anaheim, CA. As Chair, Walker will continue to lead the Board of Directors in the oversight of NAESCO’s management, advocacy efforts, and other initiatives.

Walker, who was first elected Chair in 2023, succeeding Michael Perna of RWE Clean Energy, has been actively involved in the association for several years, previously serving as Vice-Chair from 2020 to 2022. At Veregy, Walker strategically leads the organization to new cultural, growth, and productivity horizons in engineering, energy savings, sustainability, technology, and distributed energy resources. As Chair, Walker has focused on strengthening NAESCO’s mission and strategy.

“The board has chosen to re-elect our current Chair and Officers to carry forward NAESCO’s strategic plan established in 2024,” said Timothy Unruh, Executive Director of NAESCO. “This plan, thoughtfully developed by our board of directors, lays a strong foundation for NAESCO’s long-term vision and will guide our efforts in the years ahead.”
