Introduction The Laurens County School District 55 (hereinafter referred to as “District”) is seeking qualifications from Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) to develop and implement a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract (GESC) in accordance with South Carolina Code of Laws, Section 48-52-670. The selected ESCO will conduct a comprehensive energy audit, propose cost-effective energy conservation measures (ECMs), and implement the approved scope of work, ensuring guaranteed savings.
- Project Objectives The primary objectives of this GESC are to:
- Improve energy efficiency across District facilities.
- Reduce utility costs and operational expenses.
- Upgrade or replace aging infrastructure with energy-efficient solutions.
- Ensure financial savings through guaranteed performance-based contracting.
- Enhance environmental sustainability and reduce carbon footprint
