City of Olathe, KS

The City is interested in contracting for a full range of services permissible under KSA 75-37, 125 regulations. The City of Olathe invites proposals for the design and execution of energy-saving initiatives. These initiatives should encompass a broad spectrum of measures aimed at reducing energy consumption. While not limited to the following, proposals should address various aspects of energy efficiency and sustainability. The City of Olathe has identified the installation of
solar panels at the Indian Creek Library as a priority project. The scope of this project includes the integration of a shading system within the courtyard/stage area, aiming to promote sustainability, education, and community outreach.


Proposals for this project are expected to encompass design, construction, and the incorporation of
educational/outreach components focused on energy savings. The City of Olathe, Kansas is requesting qualified firms to submit a proposal for the purpose of assisting the City of
Olathe in developing and implementing an energy-saving project that will pay for itself over time through the savings it generates. The City of Olathe wishes to implement a KSA 75-37, 125 program on a performance-based energy saving contract basis.
