The purpose of this RFP is to standardize all water meters to a single meter/ert combination. This mass meter replacement is an integral step that will eventually allow the Town to remotely collect readings from these meters and manage them via the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system that is currently in place. This AMI system will improve accuracy and efficiency in water meter reading collection, meter health monitoring, leak detection, etc.
